The Drainage Services Department (DSD) has proudly announced the winners of the Construction Sites Safety and Housekeeping Award Scheme (CSSHAS) 2024. This esteemed initiative recognizes outstanding safety and housekeeping performance among DSD contracts, while also fostering a spirit of collaboration among DSD contractors, partnering consultants, and in-house site supervisory staff.

Aster has excelled in this year’s awards, securing a total of three prestigious accolades. In Category (c) for E&M Works Contracts, Aster distinguished itself by winning two awards among three contractors:

    1. DE/2022/08 – Improvement of the Pump Cooling System at Main Pumping Station No. 1, Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works (E&MP Division).
    2. DE/2022/13 – Upgrading of Air Mains Pipework and Associated Facilities at Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works (E&MP Division).

In Category (e), which pertains to Maintenance Contracts of the E&M Branch, Aster was awarded one of the three accolades presented to contractors:

    1. DE/2022/14 – Term Contract for Inspection, Repair, Overhaul, and Testing of Electrical and Mechanical Installations at Various Sewage Treatment Works and Pumping Stations in New Territories West and New Territories North (2023-2026) (ST1 Division).

These achievements underscore Aster’s commitment to excellence in safety and operational standards within the construction industry.
